I admit I haven't been posting as much as I should lately. This has been partly due to the uncertainty of my situation. But, then again, perhaps I should be documenting my decisions more thoroughly.
So I turn to you, gentle reader. What would you like to see here? Should I return to the daily journal entry format? A weekly summary? or more poorly-written attempts at humorous essays?
Your opinion is valued.
Terry - I'm a daily lurker. Mo be better. I like reading even the prosaic stuff. Your honest internal portraits are good. And careful with the biz purchase! You could get zoned out of a small fortune. Or have to pay off the short mob. But I'm sounding like granddad. Good luck there, and keep typing!
Posted by: chris on August 24, 2003 02:10 PMI really enjoy reading about what you're up to, even if it's only 'mundane' day to day stuff - what's normal for you is exotic to me! I'd love to read a description of Koh San road etc - the real tourist places. I think it sounds like hell on earth to me but I'd be interested in a report from our man on the scene. Good luck with the business. Are you sure you're allowed to own a business, I thought only Thais could own anything in Thailand - but what do I know!
Posted by: Trish on August 25, 2003 06:29 AMOwning a business in Thailand is just as foreign to us as traveling the world. I will certainly continue to check it out. Once a week or so with the internesting news is probably a good frequency - as long as you are enjoying the web site. If you get burned out on that like travel, then just post a "vacation" notice. :-)
Posted by: Ann on August 25, 2003 08:05 AMKeep 'em coming Terry! Best of luck on the bid-ness!
Posted by: Bill on August 25, 2003 09:46 AMKeep 'em coming, Terry. I check your site daily. And make sure your due diligence on that business is diligent! Since you're a techie, you probably have a million thai links (as do I), but here's another just in case: http://www.stickmanbangkok.com/. The first link there, Wanna work in Thailand leads to a site which might have information you can use re: the business.
Best!
